About SOul Fly
We are a community in motion. a tribe of curious souls and saltwater seekers. A little wild, all heart, always up for the hang.

The Soul Fly Story
Soul Fly Co. didn’t start in a boardroom. It started on the flats. A Simple ethos of community first & protect the resource.
After years of running a fly-fishing lodge, we realized that the best part of the day wasn’t just the fish. it was the stories shared over cold bevs back at the dock. We took that raw, unfiltered energy and built an events company around it.
The FoundatOn
2016
It started on a skiff in Maine.
Kyle launched Soul Fly Outfitters with a steadfast ethos of conservation, education, and doing things differently.
A few months later, Griz stepped on board as his very first striper client. They hit it off immediately, and the groundwork for everything that followed was laid on the water.

The Lodge
2018 – 2021
Driven by a shared ethos, Kyle, Griz, and Kitri spent years hunting for the right opportunity to build a place of their own. After scouring the map for the right spot to plant their flag, Soul Fly Lodge officially launched in the Berry Islands, Bahamas, in September 2021.
It was never just about the fishing, It was about community, sustainability, and curating the absolute best vibes on the flats.

Taking the lodge energy on the road.
2025
Realizing the best part of the lodge was the community it built, Griz stepped up to lead Soul Fly into the event space, bringing Charleston local Will Morris on as a partner. They tested the waters producing their first event—The Bass Bash in Maine—and the response was undeniable.

Built for the stage.
2026
May 2026 marks our first fully original, large-scale throwdown: Soul Fly CHS in Charleston. Through every chapter, from a single skiff in Maine to a 2,000-person open-air venue, the core ethos remains exactly the same: community first, protect the places we love, and have a damn good time doing it!

Our Ethos
We didn’t build Soul Fly to follow the standard industry script. Through every evolution of the brand, the core ethos remains untouched:
Community First, protect the resource, Be serious about fun, and leave the ego at the dock.
Community First. Zero Ego.
We don't care what logo is on your hat or how many fish you caught yesterday. Whether on the skiff or at the stage, we are building a space where guides, weekend warriors, and the fly-curious can drop the pretense, share a cold bev, and truly connect.

Protect the resource.
Without clean water and healthy flats, none of this matters. Conservation and sustainability aren't just buzzwords for us; they are baked into our DNA. We partner with local advocates to protect the resource and leave the places we love better than we found them.

Drift With Purpose.
Whether we’re reading the water in the Berry Islands or laughing at our dance moves in Charleston, everything we do is intentional--but not forced. We’re here to curate exceptional, authentic experiences, push the culture forward, and have a damn good time doing it.

The people behind Soul Fly
The people behind the curtain. No suits, no egos. Just a team dedicated to pushing the culture forward. (Secret: they dont care for titles...)

The visionary who took the lodge mentality and evolved it. If there’s a new way to bring anglers together, Kyle’s already sketching it out.

The architect of the vibe. Griz ensures every Soul Fly event has the right energy, the right soundtrack, and zero corporate stiffness.

The glue holding it All together. Kitri provides the operational fire that keeps Soul Fly's engine running smoothly.

The boots on the ground. Will helps turn empty venues into the kinds of parties people talk about long after the lights come on.
